Community Involvement

Making a difference…together.

We’ve been in Belle Plaine since 1882 and we truly care about this community, that’s why Community Commitment is one of our core values.

Actions speak louder than words. Our staff is very active in the community. From coaching local sports teams, participating in local organizations and events, serving in civic organizations and volunteering at local churches…we’re a busy bunch! We take great pride in our commitment to make a difference with our time and our financial resources.

Our employees participate in the “Jeans for Charity” event each month.  Donations are made to local charities.

Our Bank makes a donation to the Belle Plaine High School for each box of “Tiger” checks ordered.

Our tagline is ‘People you know. Bankers you trust.’ If you live or work in Belle Plaine, chances are that you know some of our bankers. Over the past 12 months, we have donated thousands of dollars and over 1200 hours to support Belle Plaine and surrounding communities.

Our Random Acts of Kindness take place in many forms. Our bankers like to do good deeds, so you never know when you might encounter a friendly State Bank of Belle Plaine team member doing something nice for you, with nothing expected in return.

We believe in doing our part to make Belle Plaine a great place to live and work!

State Bank staff created “Survival Kit” bags for Belle Plaine Police Officers to show them our support for their service to our Community.

State Bank staff presented the CAP Agency with donations collected from the community along with our Jeans for Charity Program.

State Bank staff presented donations to Presley’s Backpack Program collected from the community along with our Jeans for Charity Program.

People you know. Bankers you trust.
